Create Your Ideal Workspace At Home

Working from home is one of the many challenges we are facing today and finding motivation to stay productive is definitely a challenge. It is so easy distracted by all the things that you could get done "while working", like doing laundry or dishes, and if you have kids or pets... forget it!

Here are few basic tips can help:

1 - Find a separate area in your house that is not your bedroom to set up your office . Set up a small desk, a corner of the dining room table, or even a surface in a cleared-out closet or hallway. Make sure that everyone in your household know that this is your workspace and ask them to minimize interruptions when you're working.

2 - Make sure that you have good lighting. Ideally, you will be in the area where you can get natural light and sunlight. But, if you are in the area that has no windows, getting proper lighting is a must. Use lamps and consider getting a light therapy lamp to increase your energy levels and help you feel better.

3 - Keep your work area clean and organized as much as possible. Set yourself up for success with the right folders, organizers, shelves, and other tools you'll need to stay productive. Make sure to clean up and organize your workspace when you finish your day so it is ready for the next day.

Remember that you need to balance the needs of your home and the needs of your work, and it can be challenging for even the most diligent people.
